Dr. Asaduddin’s first year of residency in internal medicine took place at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. After finishing his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, he then moved to the northern suburbs of Chicago, where he worked as a hospitalist at the Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals, a part of the Evanston Northwestern health care system. As a hospitalist, Dr. Asaduddin admitted and managed patients and also mentored residents in training.
After working in the Aurora, Illinois, area for a few years, during which time he was part of a committee focused on improving electronic medical record systems, Dr. Asaduddin returned to his home city of Houston in 2008 to open Katy Internists. He is board-certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians and the Harris County Medical Society.
Dr. Asaduddin lives in Houston with his family. He lends much of his spare time to Christ Clinic in Katy, Texas, where he is a volunteer physician.
