About the Physician

Adil Asaduddin, MD

Dr. Asaduddin is a board certified Internal Medicine physician practicing in the Katy, Texas area.

He grew up in Southwest Houston and completed his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995 and completed his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1999.

Dr. Asaduddin completed his first year of residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and successfully completed his residency training in Internal Medicine in 2002 from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after which he successfully passed his Internal Medicine Board Exams.

Dr Asaduddin began working as a Hospitalist physician in 2002 at the Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals of the Evanston Northwestern Healthcare system in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois where he admitted and managed patients full time in the hospital setting. He also worked with resident physicians training in Evanston Hospital in their teaching program discussing cases being admitted at the hospital.

He then moved to Aurora, Illinois in 2005 and practiced as a traditional Internal Medicine Physician in the Dreyer Medical Group outpatient clinic and at Provena Mercy and Rush Copley Hospitals in Aurora, Illinois. While at the Dreyer Medical Group, he worked on the Electronic Medical Record Committee focusing on simplifying and improving the documentation in the electronic medical record system.

Dr. Asaduddin moved back to his hometown of Houston in January of 2008 to start a new Internal Medicine practice and opened the Katy Internists office on February 1, 2008 and is active in all the hospitals in Katy, Texas.
